Join us whether you are new to storytelling or a seasoned writer – and Write the Story You Haven’t Told – yet!
Why attend?
Wherever you are on your writing journey, instructor Joylynn M. Ross will meet you there, and then help get you to your final destination of either completing a writing piece or helping you build the foundation to complete a project. It can be fiction, nonfiction, or even autobiographical . . . whatever piece of creative writing that flows through your heart, soul, spirit, and beautiful mind – this program will provide you with the dedicated time, skills and tools for you to realize your writing desire.
Plus come and make new friends while in the inspirational environment of the Nevada State Museum Las Vegas.
What does the course include?
- Six workshops of 90 minutes per week – July 7, 14, 21, 28, Aug 4, 11 from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the museum.
- A culminating event at the museum for friends and family, which will be held the evening of Thursday 18th August.
- All writing materials
- There is just a one-time fee of $40 ($30 for museum members) payable on arrival on the first day that goes directly towards more adult and educational programs at the museum.
The program is made possible by the support of the Nevada Arts Council, the National Endowment of the Arts, the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies (NASAA) and E.A. Michelson Philanthropy.
